Arch of Dolabella

An ancient city gate of Servian walls. The construction of this gate dates to the republican period; the arch was integrated in the aqueduct of Nero. Now, we can admire the ruins of aqueduct on the wall near the arch. The arches of aqueduct was subsequently walled up or transformated in portals.
