Via della Conciliazione

Saint Peter's Basilica and "Via della Conciliazione". The center Via della Conciliazione leading to Saint Peter's. The decision to create Via della Conciliazione was taken in 1936 and was opened in 1950, Jubilee Year; its costruction forced demolition of the old group of building knows as the Spina dei Borhi. The name of this Via celebrates the reconciliation beetwen the Italian State and the Church.
