Temple of Hercules Victor

This temple was erroneously called the Temple of Vesta because of its circular shape. It was founded in the late 2nd century B.C. by a Roman merchant and dedicated it to Hercules, the patron god of the olearii. The temple is built near the ancient trading port on the river.
